1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In these Terms & Conditions, AFC means Aquinas Football Club as operated by the management committee elected each year at the Annual General Meeting. Applicant means the person who has completed the application form on behalf of the child or young person named on the Application Form or in the case of players who are over 18 years old, the player themselves. Application Form means the on-line application form, and Payment Plan refers to one of several fee payment options available to Applicant at www.aquinasfcmembers.net. These Terms & Conditions relate to prospective and continuing membership of AFC and the financial conditions that apply to these circumstances, and are in addition to other AFC conditions published on the primary website at www.aquinasfc.net.
2. MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION & RENEWAL
Application for AFC membership is open to all persons over the age of 5 years on 1stSeptember of each year.
Membership is subject to the Terms & Conditions as amended from time to time.
Membership of AFC does not commence until an application form has been completed, accepted and a subscription plan is in place and active.
For existing members membership of AFC does not recommence until an application for renewal has been reviewed and a new subscription plan is in place and is active.
AFC reserves the right to reject any application for or renewal of membership.
Applicant subscriptions to AFC entitles each member to participate in football training during the season but does not guarantee a squad position for competitive matches which are subject to selection on merit.
3. MEMBERSHIP TYPES
AFC offers various subscription plans
a) Annual Subscriptions
These are one off subscriptions payable in full annually, effective from 1st September of each year. There are four categories of this type of membership:
Renewal notices and reminder emails for annual membership plans will be issued in July and August of each year.
Annual fee payments made after mid-October of each year will be prorated to reflect the later registration date.
Should an annual payments submission fail, AFC reserves the right to recover an administration fee of £30.
b) Three Month Starting Spread Subscriptions
These options offer a payment plan which spreads the annual subscription for a First and/or Subsequent player over the first four months of membership, based on a 1st September start. The installments run as follows:

4. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
In the event that Members wish to cancel their membership, AFC will consider a pro rata refund of subscriptions up to a maximum of 50%. Written or emailed notice of 14 days is required.
5. MEMBERSHIP CARRYOVER
In circumstances of illness or injury, leniency may be applied in relation to any fees due. Valid medical documentation may be requested for this to be reviewed. Where fees have been paid in advance, this can be credited to future Membership payments if preferred.
6. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP BY AFC
AFC may terminate a Membership without notice and with immediate effect if:
All decisions made by AFC under this clause are final and binding. AFC is unlikely to accept a new application for Membership from someone whose Membership has been terminated in accordance with this clause.
7. PERSONAL INFORMATION
Members are responsible for advising AFC of changes to their personal information and should also update their profile accordingly using their provided log in to the AFC Registration & Subscription Service.
8. CHANGES TO AFC TERMS & CONDITIONS
AFC may from time to time amend these Terms & Conditions, including the introduction of any additional terms and conditions, and will notify Members by email. Any changes will be effective immediately.
9. TERMS OF CONTRACT
A completed on-line Application Form, these Terms & Conditions and the Club Rules make up a binding contract of Membership with AFC. Members are advised to read these Terms & Conditions and Club Rules in full before completing the Application Form.
10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms & Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with Northern Ireland law.
